The Palatine Pages Vol.2 - A Capital and a Palace
The Palatine Pages - Vol. 2
Greetings from Aspenwald,
I trust this second issue of the Palatine Pages finds you in good health and spirits. It is with immense pride and joy that I pen this missive, serving not only as a means of direct communication between us but as an introduction to a new chapter in our shared journey.
Today, we write a defining paragraph in the history of Aspenwald. Today, I have issued two monumental letters patent which I believe and trust will shape the path of our County Palatine and Electorate for generations to come.
Firstly, I am pleased to formally announce that The City of Albansberg has been officially designated as the capital of the County Palatine and Electorate of Aspenwald. The name Albansberg honors the spirit of Saint Alban, who embodies our shared values of justice, protection of the oppressed, and provision of refuge for those in need. We trust that the city will be a beacon of these principles.
Secondly, it is my honor to declare Palatine House as the official residence, court, and palace of the Count Palatine and Prince-elector of Aspenwald. This historic house will not merely be a residence, but the heart of our community, the seat of our governance, and a symbol of our collective commitment to the advancement of Aspenwald.
The doors of Palatine House will always symbolically be open, reflecting our commitment to transparency, inclusivity, and community. It is my hope that Palatine House will serve as a space of unity, discussion, and shared progress, cementing our bond as a community.
In closing, I wish to express my heartfelt gratitude for your continued trust and support. These decisions are rooted in our shared commitment to nurture and uphold the values and traditions that make Aspenwald unique. Together, we forge a path that respects our past and embraces our future.
- Michael
