News: Elector of Aspenwald Granted The High Office of Archadmiral of the Empire

Ahoy!

His Imperial Highness James I of Great Hanover has seen fit to grant a hereditary High Office appointment to each of the Hanoverian imperial estates. In the Letters Patent Constituting the High Offices of the Empire, signed on the 5th of June 2023, the Elector of Aspenwald was named hereditary Archadmiral of the Empire. The posts will be attached, not to the person, but to the estate itself, meaning that each successive Elector of Aspenwald will also hold the ceremonial High Office of Archadmiral of the Empire.

There was a discussion in the Imperial Diet about the possibility of an arms augmentation badge. While not formally decreed, it was suggested that each elector may choose whether or not to augment his or her arms with such a badge.
